About Herm
My Story
Growing up in Central NJ I had a wealth of fishing opportunities at my fingertips, the problem was I didnt start fly fishing until my mid teens. Once I started that was it! I was hooked for life, I ventured up to the north jersey streams every chance I could get to try my luck at catching some trout. When I hit my twenties I really started focusing on those wild/native trout populations that are not as rare as you would think, but are a ton of fun once you figure it out. After years of learning I have finally fine tuned my fly tying, my equipment and casting abilities to be able to share it with anyone/everyone who wishes to go catch the very saught after NJ Trout Trifecta! (Brook, Brown, Rainbow)

The Experience
Herm is all about providing you with flies that will last for hours and even days on the water. This just means less tying rigs and more value for your dollar. It's about enjoying your time on the water not tying new flies on.

The Journey
Fishing isn't just about catching fish its about the journey of learning the skill, mastering it and then enjoying every moment of it with friends and family. Fly fishing is a beautiful form of art.
The Memories
